Azerbaijan joins "Islamic banking and finance" training in Türkiye

As part of the cooperation between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the Participation Banks Association of Türkiye, a training program on "Islamic Banking and Finance" was conducted in Istanbul to enhance knowledge and skills in the financial markets.
Representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Entrepreneurship Development Fund, KOBIA, and leading banks of Azerbaijan participated in the event. The training covered topics including the differences between Islamic banking and traditional banking, Islamic financial instruments and application methods, as well as the collection and management of financial resources.
During their visit, participants also met with the regulatory bodies of Türkiye's financial markets and engaged with professional market participants to gain insights into best practices.
Certificates were awarded to the participants at the end of the training.
